Texas Plains Match

All shooters must utilize an ALIAS, CLOTHING, FOOTWEAR, HAT, ACCOUTERMENTS, FIREARMS, AMMUNITION, HOLSTERS, and a CARTRIDGE BELT, POUCH, or BANDOLEER as described in the Handbook. A gun cart or range bag and some gun cleaning and lubrication equipment will also come in mighty handy.

Membership in the Single Action Shooting Society or The Texas Peacemakers in not required to participate. Shooters and non-shooting guest must each sign a waiver and follow all range safety rules including the wearing of ear plugs and safety eye glasses with side shielding .

Regardless of category or caliber, all bullets used in matches must be made of pure lead or lead alloy. No copper jacketed or semi-jacketed bullets are allowed on the range.
